Alaska Vintage Market | Alaska Chicks Company

This summer, I had the opportunity to be a part of the Alaska Vintage Market! Hosted by the Alaska Chicks Company, their open air market was a great event for the whole family! It was so much fun to be a part of the market! For many of us, the Alaska Vintage Market was highly anticipated, especially after the State Fair was cancelled. I had been looking forward to meeting vendors from all over the state. And, everything surpassed my expectations! I chatted with some wonderful people and I’m looking forward to the chance to be a part of another market!

Alaska Vintage Market

The Alaska Vintage Market is one of the biggest markets hosted by the Alaska Chicks Company. Honestly, it was SUCH an honor to be there, part of the list of so many incredible vendors in the area. Attending and having a booth at the Vintage Market was definitely a family affair for us!! Truthfully, with 2 long days of setup and 3 market days, plus one day for take down… I couldn’t have done this alone! My husband helped design and build my display and my daughter helped me run the booth. It was great to be able to be with them while also getting the chance to network.

A huge part of why I work as a newborn and family photographer here in Alaska is because I believe memories should be preserved and shared with those you love. Events like this just remind me that I’m doing exactly what I was meant to be doing!! It was awesome to be able to share my love of portraiture and sharing heirloom artwork with others. Both vendors and attendees spoke with me about similar interests and it felt amazing.
